The exhibition will include more than 150 photographs from the legendary collection of Lev and Alexander Borodulin - it is one of the most expensive and largest collections of works by the classics of Soviet photography in the world.
Among the authors whose works are represented in the exhibition, Dmitry Baltermants, Yevgeny Khaldei, Anatoliy Morozov, Max Alpert, and many others. Lev Borodulin began collecting photographs immediately after the war. In his collection one could find rarities, 1917, and war footage, which he passed himself. However, not a smaller role in the salvation of all the collected wealth belongs to the son of Lev Borodulin, Alexander. It was he who preserved the collection during the collapse of the USSR.
Today Lev Borodulin turns 93, and through his work hundreds of spectators can touch the past and once again remember about the heroism of Russian people.
