On 23 April, in the new building of Russian national library there has taken place the exhibition "Black Dog Petersburg".
The Leningrad rock club was a very special public organization – the Association of musicians. It had its own power structure and its own system of membership, and among the participants there were such giants of Russian rock music as Kino, Aquarium, Picnic, Alisa, and many others.
This exhibition was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the rock club and was telling about the work of its members in General and about the image of the city in their poetry in particular. In the exposition were shown the collections of poems by representatives of the Leningrad underground, as well as the lyrics of the participants of the bands of this association.
Some of the exhibits are truly unique. So, they are a rare photographs from the archives of Vladimir Rekshan, a rare magazines autographs, personal letters and cards today's legends of Russian rock music. All this was complement the sculpture of Alexey Arkhipov, which presented images and symbols of Leningrad-Petersburg.
