The problem of a consequence includes studying of the archival materials found after 2011 and connected with the "White Guard" investigation held in 1918-1924 and also with destiny of material evidences on this criminal case.
At the request of Russian Orthodox Church in July, 2015 the interdepartmental working group on the questions connected with research and burial of the remains of Crown Prince Alexey and the great princess Maria of Romanov which are in the State archive of the Russian Federation was created.
In July Dmitry Medvedev signed the order about creation of the interdepartmental working group on questions of research and a reburial of remains of Crown Prince Alexey and the great princess Maria of Romanov.
All this will allow to establish authenticity of remains of the tsarevitch Alexey and the great princess Maria, and also will end the dispute lasting from 90th years.
As it is known in 1993 the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation started investigating murder of an imperial family. The examination which is carried out within criminal case recognized that remains belong to the emperor Nicholas II, the empress Aleksandra Fyodorovna, great princesses Olga, Tatyana and Anastasia and court. The church didn't recognize conclusions of experts. But her opinion didn't begin to be considered, remains were buried in a tomb of the Russian tsars in Peter and Paul Cathedral.
In 2007 searches on Staraya Koptyakovskaya Road were resumed: it was still not known where murderers hid bodies of the tsarevitch Alexey and the princess Maria. Researchers leaned on so-called "Yurovsky's note" – records of the commandant of the "house of special function" directing murder. The security officer wrote that nine bodies subordinated poured over him acid before burying, and two more burned and "dug nearby".
Remains of two people, fragments of bones "with cutting up traces" and teeth, really were found in the same place, on Staraya Koptyakovskaya Road, but aside. In 2008 the American geneticists established that these remains belong to the tsarevitch and the great princess. In 2011 the investigator Vladimir Solovyyov reported to members of the family of Romanov the resolution on the termination of criminal case.
Numerous examinations specify that remains belong to Crown Prince Alexey and its sister Maria. Remains didn't bury yet.
