The project "Petrograd in 1917" - a series of 12 lectures, renovations, which will be held from January 25 to December 27, 2017.
There will be many interesting topics: What do the 23 February and 8 March 1917, and as the Petrograd workers provoked a revolution? What Lenin did in the mansion of Matilda Kshesinskaia in April 1917? Who shot at the Winter on October 25 and what to do that night team "Aurora"? How and why it was created the Cheka, and who became its first employees?
In 2017, every last Wednesday of the month at these and other questions will be responsible historians, museum staff, archivists and university professors between the two capitals. The audience for the first time will feature a unique, previously unknown archival documents, testimonies of contemporaries, and museum exhibits.
